Welcome Alumni Board members
Today is pretty momentous for the Alumni Association.  Its the first time we have used our Alumni Online Community, branded LynchburgAlumni.com, to communicate with alumni, to draw them in to this web of ours, and to show the world what our Alumni Board has been asking for.

As I exit campus for a few days off to entertain family visiting from Dallas, Seattle, and St. Louis, I leave the Alumni Board members with some exploration tools.  I hope to keep track and find that the site really serves your needs.  We will work together to tweak, revise and update.  New content should appear regularly.

Its a pretty cool experience to have been part of the team that brought LynchburgAlumni.com to life.  But the real applause should be showered upon the Technology Committee, chaired by Francessca Spencer '00; Tom Cassidy '73, director of alumni programs, who is driving most of the content development and daily management of the site; and all the alumni board members who are part of the Blue Ribbon Panel that made this a priority. 

Enjoy the site, let us know what you think, and tell your LC friends.  This is YOUR space.  Welcome home.
